Our Mission

HarborCOV's mission is to provide linguistically and culturally appropriate emergency and support services for individuals and their families while working to end domestic violence through community development.

Primary Goals

• To help individuals save themselves and their families from family violence, reclaim control of their lives and make healthy changes toward self-sufficiency
  

• To support young people to break the cycle of violence by providing opportunities for teens to become leaders in domestic violence prevention
  

• To provide leadership and collaborate with local residents and organizations to promote a consistent message of nonviolence, transforming the harbor communities into safer places for individuals and families
  

• To create supportive transitional-to-permanent housing that is fully integrated into the community, minimizing homelessness and upheaval for individuals and families fleeing abuse.
